It is a 300-meter-high hill, and an important Croatian archeological site – Varvaria, an antique municipality, and later medieval town. It was the center of the Croatian state in the 13th century and home of the Šubić family. Situated about 15km from Skradin and approx 30km from Šibenik. A macadam road about 500m long leads to the top of the hill.
