Krka National Park is situated along the Krka River in southern Croatia.

Skradin is the gateway (from see) to the Krka waterfalls. Skradin has a rich, ancient history, dating from 33 BC.

Island of Visovac in the Krka National Park

The Franciscan Monastery of Our Lady of Mercy, and the Church of Our Lady of Visovac from 1445.

Ogrlice – Cascades near the Roški slap in the middle of the Krka River canyon

Oziđana pečina cave, where were found flint artifacts, stone tools, bones of various animals, and fragments of mussel shells from 5.000 to 1.500 BC. The most spectacular discovery was two child skeletons lying huddled together on the right side in the fetal position.

The military amphitheater at Burnum is estimated to have been able to accommodate 6,000 spectators.
