TIGR Memorial Circular Trail is dedicated to the memory of a TIGR organization (considered one of the first anti-fascist resistance movements in Europe). TIGR an abbreviation for Trieste, Istra, Gorica, and Rijeka was a militant anti-fascist organization established as a response to the Fascist Italianization of the Slovenian and Croat people after the First World War (1927-1941).
The trail is located above the edge of the Istria peninsula in the Slovenian karst.
The trail is marked with yellow signs and passes through 26 interesting points like water springs, brooks, waterfalls, karst caves, chasms, and the remains of mills and military caverns from the Great War.
