Parenzana was a 123 km long narrow-gauge railway, operating in northwestern Istria between 1902 and 1935 and connecting the ports of Trieste and Poreč. Today it passes through the territory of three countries: Italy – 13 km, Slovenia – 32 km and Croatia – 78 km.

The trail starts in Poreč where you can visit lots of historical heritage like the Euphrasian Basilica registered on the list of Unesco World Heritage Sites and lots more
The Parenzana mountain bike trail from Poreč to Vižinada is about 20 km long and passes by ex train stations: Poreč, Nova Vas, Višnjan, Labinci, Baldaši, Vižinada.
The mountain bike path passes through olive groves,

and by hunting checks
